Saddle up for a safari

With a ranch in Corte Neto, tucked away beneath the gentle hills above Loulé, the Red Horse Ranch is the ideal base for horseback safaris.

An hour or two of trekking in the immediate surroundings of the ranch incorporates spectacular panoramas of the coast, as well as country side of the Algarve. These short rides are suitable for less experienced as well as experienced Riders, for example children can be taken out on a leading reign. For more experienced riders we offer whole day, overnight and weekly treks threw the most beautiful, unspoiled inland areas of the region.

The long treks are tailor-made to suit riders' requests and there are never more than eight horses to a safari. All overnight stays are in places in rustic settings, with comfortable beds and good food for both two and four-legged traverlers.
